As this is my first
product review, I decided to write on the product that I loved and trusted the
most currently--- Yuan soap. Yuan soap is from Taiwan, they are natural and 100% free from
artificial fragrances and colours. As a bonus, they are handmade! Ah Yuan started to make soap when he was
around 40years old as he experienced skin sensitivity. There are 5 series-
flower, seed, tree, herb and special. There are more than 20 soaps. I started to use Yuan soap few months ago, I think it was around early July. This is also my first time using totally natural soap. I fell in love with it! For now, I
have tried 2 only, and I can’t wait to try others!
I have tried one of
the seed series, Mung Bean & Job’s Tear soap and now I’m using Purple
Gromwell & Roselle soap which is one of the herb series. I’m satisfied with
both soaps.
One piece of soap can
last 1month or maybe more! The key of storing it is that you have to store it
away from water, try to keep it dry when you are not using it or else it will
melt fast! I chopped it into 6 small cubes, it will last longer as I’ll just
put 1 into my container and the rest stay dry until I need them.
chopped them into 6 little cubes :D
lather up quite well too :D
Review for Mung Bean & Job’s Tear
My reasons for
buying this were because it claimed to deep cleanse, brighten skin tone, remove
daily makeup, suitable for people that always use makeup and expose to sun.
Well, I apply makeup almost every day, exposed to sun quite a lot and I have
serious acne problem and acne scarring so I thought I should give it a try to deep
cleanse my face every day and brighten my skin as I have quite lot of acne
scars.
For the first few
days, I experienced breakout when using this but then I thought that as it
supposed to deep cleanse so maybe it’s deep cleansing my clogged pores and all
the dirt, etc were coming out and my skin was probably adjusting itself to new skincare. So I kept on using it. Lucky that I did give it
a chance and keep using it, breakout stopped and my acne and acne scars reduced
a lot. It did brighten my skin! My redness problem also reduced quite a lot! At
first, I felt that the smell was too strong, and I personally don't like herbs scent but after a few days, I started to get use to it, and now, I kind
of like it.

Review for Purple Gromwell &
Roselle soap
After I finished my
Mung Bean & Job’s Tear soap, I decided to try another one. This time I chose
this because it claimed to detoxify and suitable for pimple-proned skin, and
clogged pores which will give you blackheads and whiteheads. After I’ve cleared
most of my stubborn acne, I thought I should work on those blackheads
especially on the nose area and whiteheads where I have most at my jawline.
I experienced the
same situation, for the first few days, it break me out but it’s just some tiny
pimples. I was totally fine with it as it’s working and adjusting itself. After that my skin back to
normal. Yes, I still have pimples sometimes, it’s totally normal because
everyone will have pimples here and there sometimes plus with my daily makeup. But
it’s not like how my skin used to be, they are not huge acne anymore, now, they
are just small pimples which can be disappeared quite easily. For this soap, I didn’t
notice any skin brightening effect, instead, I noticed that my blackheads
reduced a lot! My redness is also still under control J

I highly recommend Yuan soap, I mean its 100% natural and free from those harsh chemicals, how bad can it be! Especially for those with skin problems that bothered you for a long time ( I totally understand that feeling :'( ), why don't give it a try.
